The song was performed eighth on the night, following Iceland's Bo Halldórsson with "Núna" and preceding Spain's Anabel Conde with "Vuelve conmigo". At the close of voting, it had received 67 points, placing 13th in a field of 23. The song is about the effects that Jones' lover has on her, specifically the way that he makes her world turn the wrong way whenever he is around her. It was succeeded as Austrian representative at the 1996 Contest by George Nussbaumer singing "Weil's dr guat got". {{Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest}}{{Eurovision Song Contest 1995}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Welt Dreht Sich Verkehrt}}{{Austria-stub}} 3 : Eurovision songs of Austria|Eurovision songs of 1995|1995 songs |
