CareerIn his career Popov played for Levski Sofia, Botev Plovdiv, Spartak Plovdiv, CSKA Sofia, Maritsa Plovdiv, Lokomotiv Sofia, Spartak Varna and El Paso Patriots. For the Bulgaria national football team, he participated at Euro 1996.
