The song was originally released in 1971 by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. The song was an international hit, hitting number one on the U.S. Cash Box Top 100[1] and reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as Billboard{{'}}s Easy Listening chart.[2] In Canada, the song spent one week at number one.[3] "Don't Pull Your Love" became a gold record. The song utilized session musicians later referred to as the Wrecking Crew.[4][5] The song was sung by Rob Paulsen in the animated movie Batman and Harley Quinn. Paulsen sang it as twin henchmen Min and Max, working for Two-Face, in a henchpersons' tavern that Harley visits with Batman and Nightwing, seeking information on Poison Ivy.
