The Eastern Beskids of the Outer Western Carpathians, also known as the Eastern section of the Western Beskids, are a set of mountain ranges spanning the southern Polish and northern Slovak border. They constitute an eastern section of the Western Beskids, within the Outer Western Carpathians.

Since the very term Beskid Mountains has several traditional definitions, according to distinctive historical and linguistic traditions and classifications, the term Eastern Beskids is also used with different meanings.{{sfn|Földvary|1988|p=105-117}} In Slovak terminology, the term Eastern Beskids ({{lang-sk|Východné Beskydy}}) is used to designate the eastern section of the Western Beskids. In Polish terminology, the same region is also classified as the eastern section of the Western Beskids, but not under the term Eastern Beskids ({{lang-pl|Beskidy Wschodnie}}), since that term is used to designate Eastern Beskids of the Outer Eastern Carpathians.

Subdivision

The Eastern section of the Western Beskids consist of:

  • Beskid Sądecki ({{lang-pl|Beskid Sądecki}}) + Ľubovňa Highlands ({{lang-sk|Ľubovnianska vrchovina}})
  • Čergov ({{lang-pl|Góry Czerchowskie}}; {{lang-sk|Čergov}})
  • Pieniny ({{lang-pl|Pieniny}}; {{lang-sk|Pieniny}})
