She has also appeared in such television series as Guiding Light, Seinfeld, Charmed, and Without a Trace, and films such as Clear and Present Danger, Gattaca, Soldier, Red Dragon, and True Blood. In September 1994, when Geneviève Bujold quit Voyager after three days of filming, Dennehy was reported as one of the replacement candidates for the role of Captain Janeway.[1] Dennehy is the daughter of actor Brian Dennehy.
