释义 |
Previously a researcher on Cross-Country Checkup[2] and a substitute host on This Country in the Morning and Morningside, Gray took over from Barbara Frum as cohost of As It Happens in 1981.[3] In a controversial decision by the show's producers, she was replaced by Dennis Trudeau in 1985. She subsequently hosted Sunday Morning for several years, and produced documentary reports for the network. More recently, with different producers in charge of As It Happens, Gray has returned to the program as an occasional guest host.{{citation needed|date=December 2010}} She is married to journalist John Gray.[3] References1. ^{{cite news |title=Elizabeth Gray back with CBC as producer |author=Hume, Christopher |url=https://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/thestar/access/474658221.html?FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&type=current&date=Oct+17%2C+1985&author=Christopher+Hume+Toronto+Star&pub=Toronto+Star&desc=Elizabeth+Gray+back+with+CBC+as+producer&pqatl=google |newspaper=Toronto Star |date=17 October 1985 |accessdate=21 December 2010}} {{authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Gray, Elizabeth}}{{Canada-radio-bio-stub}}2. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.cbc.ca/checkup/history/ |title=History: The Birth of Cross Country Checkup |author=Simon, Andrew |date=4 November 2007 |publisher=CBC |accessdate=21 December 2010}} 3. ^1 {{cite news |title=Elizabeth Gray lands her dream job |author=Slotek, Jim |url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=YKMyAAAAIBAJ&sjid=2O4FAAAAIBAJ&pg=4355,297449&dq=elizabeth-gray+john-gray&hl=en |newspaper=Ottawa Citizen |date=2 November 1981 |accessdate=21 December 2010}} 7 : Living people|Canadian talk radio hosts|Canadian radio journalists|CBC Radio hosts|Canadian women journalists|Women radio journalists|Year of birth missing (living people) |
