释义 |
Bodjollé, a former master-sergeant in the French army,[2] had been among a group of around 300 soldiers who on discharge from the French services had not been integrated into the Togolese army.[3] He led a conspiracy of around thirty other former non-commissioned officers, who arrested the ministers of Olympio's government. The coup saw former president Olympio shot dead at the gate of the US embassy compound by Etienne Eyadéma, later known as Gnassingbé Eyadéma, a later president of Togo.[4] Bodjollé's coup installed Nicolas Grunitzky as Togolese leader.[3] References1. ^{{Cite news |url=https://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/courant/access/913184802.html?dids=913184802:913184802&FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:AI&type=historic&date=Jan+15%2C+1963&author=&pub=Hartford+Courant&desc=Togo+Power+Held+By+Disgruntled+Former+Soldiers&pqatl=google |date=15 January 1963 |publisher=Hartford Courant |title=Togo power held by disgruntled former soldiers }} {{TogolesePresidents}}{{authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Bodjolle, Emmanuel}}{{Togo-politician-stub}}2. ^{{Cite book |first=Adekeye |last=Adebajo |page=147 |title=West Africa's security challenges: building peace in a troubled region |publisher=Lynne Rienner |year=2004 |isbn=1-58826-284-7}} 3. ^1 {{Cite book |title=African democratization and military coups |first=Chuka |last=Onwumechili |page=53 |publisher=Greenwood |year=1998 |isbn=0-275-96325-X }} 4. ^{{Cite news |url=http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,940219-1,00.html |title=Death at the gate |date=25 January 1963 |publisher=Time}} 6 : 1928 births|People of French West Africa|Togolese politicians|Living people|French military personnel|Togolese military personnel |
