It was released on April 26, 2004 by Drakkar Entertainment. The album is based on the life of the Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei (1564 –1642), who, according to legend, muttered the phrase eppur si muove, meaning "And yet it does move", after being forced to recant, in front of the Inquisition, his belief that the earth moved around the sun. The following is a musical theme recurring in many tracks on the album (as All'inizio è la morte, Per aspera ad astra and the titletrack Eppur si muove): \\relative c' {\\clef treble \\key c \\major r8 a'8 a4 e'8 e4 d8 c8 \\times 3/2 {a4} | a8 a8 g4 d'8 d8 c8 b8 g8 \\times 3/2 {r4} | g'8 g8 a4 e8 e4 d8 c4 d8 e4 c8 d4 d8 d8 c8 b8 b8 \\times 5/4 {r2} | \\times 3/2 {c4} c4 g8 c4 d8 e4 c8 d4 d8 d8 c8 b8 \\times 3/2 {b8} | b16 a8 g8 b8 g8 a2 } Track listing{{tracklist| collapsed = no | extra_column = English translation* | title1 = All'inizio è la morte | extra1 = At the Beginning stands Death | length1 = 6:50 | title2 = Menuetto in Fa-minore | extra2 = Minuet in F-minor | length2 = 1:16 | title3 = Per aspera ad astra | extra3 = Through Hardships, to the Stars | length3 = 6:40 | title4 = Of a Might Divine | extra4 = - | length4 = 8:20 | title5 = Gavotta in Si-minore | extra5 = Gavot in B-minor | length5 = 0:58 | title6 = Herr Mannelig | extra6 = Sir Mannelig | length6 = 4:50 | title7 = The Observer | extra7 = - | length7 = 4:40 | title8 = Eppur si muove | extra8 = And Yet, it Moves | length8 = 8:19 | title9 = Larghetto / epilogo adagio | extra9 = Tempo / Epilog Adagio | length9 = 2:13 | title10 = Herr Mannelig (short version) | extra10 = - | length10 = 6:10 }}{{asterisk}} English translations not official.
