He played baseball and football at the University of Notre Dame. As of March 2013, Sharpley is the director of fitness at the Eastlake Athletic Club in Elkhart, Indiana.[1] CollegeOn October 13, 2007, Sharpley replaced starting quarterback Jimmy Clausen midway through Notre Dame's loss to Boston College. Sharpley was later named the Irish's starting quarterback for their contest against USC on October 20, 2007.[2] Sharpley also played baseball. Professional Baseball CareerSeattle MarinersSharpley was drafted in the 2009 MLB Draft by the Seattle Mariners in the 50th round, with selection #1,493 out of 1521.
