Francistown Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Francistown, Botswana. It is used mostly for football matches and usually hosts the home matches of Francistown giants TAFIC. The stadium has a capacity of 27,000 people. Due to delays and mismanagement, the stadium could not be completed in time for the 2010 World Cup as initially planned. On 6 August 2015, Francistown Stadium was finally opened, with a capacity of 27,000. It hosted its first ever game on 5 September 2015 between Botswana and Burkina Faso, in the 2017 Afcon qualifiers.
