He played for FC Germania 1894 Frankfurt before moving to FC Frankfurter Kickers (later to be known as Eintracht Frankfurt). He played for the Frankfurt club from 1904 to 1921.[1] Becker represented Germany in their first international match against Switzerland, a friendly played on 5 April 1908 in which he scored the first ever goal for Germany.
