While it replaced the GMT 330, it shared nothing with the older platform and was sold alongside it until 2005. It used fully boxed hydroformed frame rails, and was built for GM's Atlas inline engines. The GMT 360 (and the long-wheelbase GMT 370) went on to be one of the most rebadged GM products with 10 models across six different marques. The platform used Double wishbone independent suspension in front. In the rear, a 5-link solid axle was used, with auto leveling air suspension available on some models. The 4L60-E/4L65-E 4-speed automatic was the only transmission available. This line was replaced in 2009, however, with crossover vehicles based on a stretched version of the TE (Theta Premium) architecture. A planned replacement, codenamed GMT 361, was cancelled. Production ended in late December 2008. ApplicationsGMT 305
