}}Goose Creek Township is a township in Piatt County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 790 and it contained 355 housing units.^[2]Ameren's Goose Creek Energy Center, a combustion turbine generator (CTG) power plant, is located in Goose Creek Township.^[3]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of {{convert|56.32|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|56.3|sqmi}} (or 99.96%) is land and {{convert|0.01|sqmi}} (or 0.02%) is water.^[2]
