The club played mainly out of Brian Timmis Stadium (Cap. 5,000) adjacent to Ivor Wynne Stadium. Coaches for the opening CSL season were Kevin Grant, Jimmy Young and Welsh legend John Charles. Key members of the Steelers in 1987 were M Jerry Adzic and F Alex Bunbury.
