}}Henry Albert "Hank" Edwards (January 29, 1919 – June 22, 1988) was an American professional baseball outfielder. He played twelve seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1941 to 1953 for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Browns.[1] He had an injury-plagued career, including a broken ankle, a fractured collarbone, and a dislocated shoulder. He led the American League in triples (16) in 1946. In 11 seasons he played in 735 Games and had 2,191 At Bats, 285 Runs, 613 Hits, 116 Doubles, 41 Triples, 51 Home Runs, 276 RBI, 9 Stolen Bases, 208 Walks, .280 Batting Average, .343 On-base percentage, .440 Slugging Percentage, 964 Total Bases and 8 Sacrifice Hits.
