Harvester is an unincorporated community in St. Charles County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] Much of the community has been annexed by St. Peters. A post office called Harvester was established in 1881, and remained in operation until 1901.[2] The community was so named on account of wheat fields near the original town site.[3] References1. ^{{GNIS|756163}} {{Coord|38|44|45|N|90|34|50|W|type:city_region:US-MO|display=title}}{{St. Charles County, Missouri}}{{StCharlesCountyMO-geo-stub}}2. ^{{cite web | url=http://www.postalhistory.com/postoffices.asp?task=display&state=MO&county=Saint+Charles | title=Post Offices| publisher=Jim Forte Postal History | accessdate=27 November 2016}} 3. ^{{cite web | url=http://shsmo.org/manuscripts/ramsay/ramsay_saint_charles.html | archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20160624072019/http://shsmo.org/manuscripts/ramsay/ramsay_saint_charles.html | archivedate=June 24, 2016 | deadurl=no | title=St. Charles County Place Names, 1928–1945 | publisher=The State Historical Society of Missouri | accessdate=November 27, 2016 | df= }} 2 : Unincorporated communities in St. Charles County, Missouri|Unincorporated communities in Missouri |
