This town is located near Lingsugur taluk, 20 km from Lingsugur. Hatti is famous for gold mining as the Hatti Gold Mines Demographics{{As of|2001}} India census,[1] Hatti had a population of 12,419. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Hatti has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 43%. In Hatti, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age. Hutti is popular for its gold producing company. So is called as Hutti Gold Mines.
