I Love You is the twenty-third studio album by American recording artist Diana Ross. It was released in Europe in late 2006 and in the United States in 2007. It was Ross's first studio album since Every Day Is a New Day in 1999.

Content

I Love You features a number of classic love songs such as "I Want You" (penned by Ross's late brother, Arthur "T-Boy" Ross), "Remember", "More Today Than Yesterday" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" (featuring Brian May of Queen). A special edition format was also released including a DVD featuring behind the scenes footage of the album's production. The only new original song on the album is the title track.

Commercial performance

The album reached number 60 in the UK Albums Chart in 2006.[3] It was released in North America on January 16, 2007, and debuted on the Billboard 200 as the week's 'Hot Shot Debut' (#32) with 21,222 copies sold.[4] It is her highest charting album since Swept Away peaked at number 26 in late 1984. Other charts the album appeared on include the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums (#16) and Top Internet Albums (#31). According to Soundscan, as of 2016, the album has sold around 100,000 copies in the United States.[5]
