释义 |
Ingalls is an unincorporated community in Bradley County, Arkansas, United States, five miles south of Hermitage. Ingalls is situated at 161 feet (49 meters) above mean sea level. The Fordyce & Princeton Railroad goes through this town. It uses ex-Rock Island tracks. Ingalls was originally known as Crowtown but acquired the name Ingalls, (the same as John James Ingalls a U.S. senator from Kansas) at the insistence of the management of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad.[1][2] {{coord|33|23|00|N|92|09|03|W|display=title}}References1. ^http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?entryID=750 The Encyclopedia of Arkansas History & Culture (EOA) is a project of the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies at the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) in Little Rock, Arkansas | Bradley County 2. ^http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?entryID=5101 Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway | The Encyclopedia of Arkansas History & Culture
