Hani is the ISO 15924 code that can be used to encode several writing systems based on sinograms (often informally named ideographs):
- Hanzi (Ming (typeface)), used in classical Chinese (Mandarin) and several related languages in the past imperial China.
For modern scripts used in Chinese, see Hant and Hans. - Nôm, used to write Vietnamese
- Kanji, used in Japanese
- Edomoji
- Japanese gothic typeface
- Hanja, used in Korean
