James Hannon (born 1967 in Norwood, Bronx, New York), is an Irish-American author and filmmaker. CareerHannon may be best known for his documentary "Out of Our Dens: The Richard and the Young Lions Story" (2004), about the 1960s garage band Richard and the Young Lions. In August 2010, Hannon released his book Lost Boys of the Bronx: The Oral History of the Ducky Boys.[1] The book, formerly a video documentary project, focuses on the real life Ducky Boys gang in the Bronx in the mid-1960s, as seen in the feature film The Wanderers (1979). In June 2018, Hannon released his book Anatomy of a Cosplayer: Tales from Behind the Mask.[2] The book tells the behind-the-scenes stories of people who put on costumes and go out to events such as comic book conventions, Renaissance fairs and charity events.
