OriginIt has been suggested that the Saindhava dynasty ruling eastern part of Saurashtra peninsula is now represented by the Jethwas. It is also suggested that the term Jethwa probably originating from Jayadratha (another name of Saindhawa dynasty), Jyeshtha (the elder branch) or Jyeshthuka from which the region derived its name Jyeshthukadesha.[2]{{qn|date=January 2018}}[3]{{qn|date=January 2018}}[4]{{qn|date=January 2018}}[5]{{Qn|date=January 2018}} Other details and KuldevisThe Jethwa Rajputs belong to the Gautam/Vajas Gotra and their Kuldevi is Vindhyavasini Devi.[6] Jethwas also worship Brahmani.[7] Again there is one aspect of devi, who is known as Jethwa Mata, who is identified as Gaur Matas or clan deities.[7] References1. ^{{Cite book|url=https://books.google.co.in/books?id=c70MAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA140&dq=Jethva+Kolis&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjP4pr0nsjgAhWCurwKHfpFCdAQ6AEICjAA#v=onepage&q=Jethva%20Kolis&f=false|title=Gazetteer of the Bombay Presidency ...|last=State)|first=Bombay (India :|date=1884|publisher=Government Central Press|language=en}} {{Rajput Groups of India}}2. ^{{Cite journal|last=Nanavati|first=J.
