CareerHe played for the Fighting Sioux from 1964-1967. Gino then played one year in the IHL in Toledo. He then returned to UND as a graduate assistant while working on his master's degree. He transitioned into an assistant coaching position followed by the head coaching job. Gasparini also acted as athletic director at UND from 1985-1990. In 2014, Gasparini was inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in the builders category.[2] Career
