It is an archaeological site now, and the ruins encompass a forum, temple, and basilica, and remains of the Roman conquest during the Social War after which youths were settled at the site (whence, in some views, its Latin name). The site is open to the public.[1] References1. ^{{cite book|author1=Sandra Lapenna|author2=Luciana Tulipani|title=Iuvanum: l'area archeologica|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=1K_qPgAACAAJ|year=2006|publisher=Synapsi|isbn=978-88-88457-34-5}} {{coord|41.997895|N|14.249799|E|_source:itwiki|display=title}}{{Abruzzo-geo-stub}}{{Italy-hist-stub}} 5 : Samnite cities|Former populated places in Italy|Roman sites of Abruzzo|Montenerodomo|National museums of Italy |
