Honold, a 47-year-old[1] public accountant is also the president of the Committee in Support of the Fire Department and previously held an unpaid position relieving the president of his duties in his absence.[2] Since 2000 Honold is a United States naturalized citizen[3] Born in Mexico, Honold acquired US citizenship in 2000. He is married to María Elena Bórquez, and they have two children, Carolina and Kurt Honold Bórquez.
