{{nihongo|Kōji Kumeta|久米田 康治|Kumeta Kōji|born on September 5, 1967 in Yokosuka, Kanagawa}} is a Japanese gag manga artist. His most famous works are Go!! Southern Ice Hockey Club, Katte ni Kaizō and Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei. His other major works include √P Root Paradise, Sodatte Darling!! and The Sun's Soldier Poka Poka. The bulk of his work was published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday, until the abrupt cancellation of Katte ni Kaizō, which resulted in him transferring from Shogakukan to Kodansha. As of 2014, he has gone freelance. One of his latest serialization called Sekkachi Hakushaku to Jikan dorobō, published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine was finished on January 7, 2015. Currently he's serializing Studio Pulp for Rakuen Le Paradis of Hakusensha, Kakushigoto in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (4 volumes so far) and Nankuru Neesan (story, written by YASU) at Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd.Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei was his first work to be made into an anime and it was awarded the 31st Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category.[1]WorksManga- {{nihongo|Go!!
