Liang Court (Simplified Chinese: 亮阁, Traditional Chinese: 亮閣, Pinyin: Liàng Gé) is a shopping mall located in the vicinity of Clarke Quay, on the Singapore River. It is part of a mixed-use complex that includes the hotel Novotel Clarke Quay and Somerset Residences.

It is close to the Central Expressway and is served by Clarke Quay MRT Station and Fort Canning MRT Station.[2]

Overview

The complex was developed by companies owned by billionaire Goh Cheng Liang and his family.[3] The mall opened in 1983, with main anchor tenant Daimaru and many other Japanese retailers.[4][5] It was subsequently sold to Pidemco Land in 1999.[6]

Liang Court has since been refurbished in 2008 and 2011. Current anchor tenants are Meidi-Ya, Kinokuniya, and Uniqlo.[7] The building has a multi-storey car park.
