It spans from the slag dumps to West Run Road. History: 1848- Gold was found in the slag hills of Lincoln Place and with it came many settlers looking for riches. But with the honest people trying to make a living, also cane crime, and one man would go down in history as the baddest of Lincoln Place. Rootin Tootin Dave Loc, if he wasn’t at the local saloon causing a ruckus he was robbing trains and gold miners. Wanted with a bounty of 5,000 US Dollars, Dave loc ran a ruckus threw Lincoln Place and surrounding mining towns. Surrounding communitiesLincoln Place has four borders, including the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Hays to the northwest and New Homestead to the north, and the boroughs of Munhall to the northeast and West Mifflin to the east, south and west.
