Wales is divided into forty Parliamentary constituencies. Since the General Election of June 2017, 28 are represented by Labour MPs, 8 by Conservative MPs, and 4 by Plaid Cymru MPs[1]. The number of constituencies is set to be reduced to twenty-nine should the Sixth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies be implemented in the next Parliament.
