The City of Moncton and its metropolitan area (Dieppe and Riverview) is the largest in New Brunswick, Canada. Its skyline is dominated by the Bell Aliant Tower, constructed in 1971 at a height of 127 m (417 ft - Equiv. to approx. 32 floors), the tallest free-standing structure in all four Atlantic provinces.

The tallest building in the city is the 20-storey, {{convert|80.8|m|ft|abbr=on|adj=on|0}} Assumption Place.[1] The complex, with its two adjoining mid rise structure, was completed in 1972. The second tallest building in the city is the Blue Cross Centre, standing at only {{convert|43|m|ft|abbr=on|0|}} tall with 9 storeys.

{{As of|2011|02}}, the city contains 1 skyscraper over {{Convert|80|m|ft|0|abbr=on}} and 9 high-rise buildings that exceed {{Convert|35|m|ft|0|abbr=on}} in height.[2] The city has more mid rise structures spread out in the urbanized region, i.e. 20 m to 35 m, than the high rises.

Hyatt Place Moncton (15 to 19 metres) Main at Highfield Street

Due for completion in 2018 is the Downtown Event Centre complex located at the former site of the Highfield Square Shopping Mall. At a height of 23 metres, the complex will have a fixed seating of 9,000. In addition, it will boast an outdoor plaza for social and community activities.

The Five Five Queen Street[3] is a 9-storey (33.6 metres) boutique Hotel, the Wesley, with a restaurant on the lower level and luxurious condos on the upper levels. It is slated to be completed in the fall of 2018. Also in the works is the Urban Junction plaza[4] at West main corner of Vaughn Harvey Bld. This project will have condos and a Boutique Hotel.

Hyatt International Hotel brand, Hyatt Place Moncton, a 120-room, 4 storey hotel that includes retail space on Main street, branded restaurant, indoor pool and meeting space to be constructed opposite the Crown Plaza and the Downtown Event Centre, respectively. The project is developed by the Corey Craig Group and tentatively scheduled to be completed by 2020. It is the only Hyatt brand east of Montreal.[5]

Completed in 2017 in the downtown Dieppe zone behind the City Hall and Place 1604 is the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel,[6] a 6-storey 80 room boutique hotel with conference rooms and on the opposite side of the street, 55 rue marche Edifice, a 4-storey retail office complex.

Under construction in the city of Dieppe is a 30 metres 10-storey apartment complex, Place Horizon Place,[7] on Sunset Street overlooking Paul Street.

Other significant structures

The Bell Aliant Tower, formerly known as the Aliant Tower and originally the NBTel Tower, is a {{convert|127|m|ft|adj=mid|-high}} tower of reinforced concrete located in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. It is used to provide directional radio services. It is the tallest radio tower in Atlantic Canada. It is also the tallest structure in the Atlantic provinces.

Andal Place

Constructed in 1973 and located at 860 Main Street, the low-rise 8-storey modernism style concrete building has an architectural height of 32 metres - roof 28 metres. TD Bank has been the main tenant since the early 1990s.
