This is a list of U.S. states, federal district, and territories sorted by their gross domestic product (GDP). The United States Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) defines GDP by state as "the sum of value added from all industries in the state."[1] Data for the territories is from Worldbank.org.[2][3][4][5][6]

B. {{note label|note02|B|^}}This excludes the U.S. territories. If the territories are included, the total is 18,626,092 million.[8] Percentages for states are determined from the version of the count that excludes territories (18,511,499 million).
