Lisvane and Thornhill railway station ({{lang-cy|Llys-faen a Draenen Pen-y-Graig}}) is a railway station serving the Lisvane and Thornhill areas of north Cardiff, Wales. It is a stop on the Rhymney Line of the Valley Lines network. The current daytime service pattern is four trains an hour to {{stnlnk|Cardiff Queen Street}}, {{stnlnk|Cardiff Central}}, {{stnlnk|Grangetown}}, {{stnlnk|Dingle Road}} and {{stnlnk|Penarth}}, and the opposite direction towards {{stnlnk|Caerphilly}}, {{stnlnk|Ystrad Mynach}}, {{stnlnk|Bargoed}} and {{stnlnk|Rhymney}}. Three trains terminate at {{stnlnk|Bargoed}}, one train per hour continues to {{stnlnk|Rhymney}}.[1] The frequency drops to half-hourly in the evening and to two-hourly on Sundays. Services are operated by Class 142 'Pacer' units, Class 143 'Pacer' units and Class 150 'Sprinter' units. The station is the replacement for the Cefn Onn Halt railway station, which was closed in 1986. See also
