Lomnička is a village and municipality in Stará Ľubovňa District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia.[1] Till 1945 the name was KleinLomnitz for 'Small'Lomnitz. HistoryIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1294.[1] The population was mostly german speeking till August 1944.[2] GeographyThe municipality lies at an altitude of 615 metres and covers an area of 9.568 km2.[1] It has a population of about 1930 people.[1] Sons and daughters of the town
