The station, and all of the others, were considered to be obsolete with the general availability of GPS systems.[2] Notes1. ^{{cite web |url=http://www.ccg-gcc.gc.ca/folios/00026/docs/part-6p-2009-eng.pdf |title=LORAN-C NAVIGATION SYSTEM |author= |date= |work= |publisher= |accessdate=2009-12-07}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Loran-C Transmitter Searchlight}}{{US-mast-stub}}2. ^{{cite news |title=GPS blows Coast Guard stations out of the desert |author=Keith Rogers |newspaper=Las Vegas Review-Journal |date=2010-03-31 |url=http://www.lvrj.com/news/gps-blows-coast-guard-stations-out-of-the-desert-89583392.html}} 7 : Formerly Used Defense Sites in Nevada|LORAN-C transmitters in the United States|Closed facilities of the United States Coast Guard|Towers in Nevada|United States Coast Guard Aviation|1976 establishments in Nevada|2010 disestablishments in Nevada |
