It is located on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway (NH8) and also connects with Nashik via the Manor-Wada Road. Literacy rates have also reached 75% with more than 7,700 literates. With a number of schools and colleges located in the town, the importance of education and literacy seems to show up in the statistics.
