He is currently the assistant manager of Club Atlético Tigre. CareerHerrón began his playing career with Argentinos Juniors on 10 August 1998 in a 2-2 draw with Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy. In 2000, he had a loan spell with French side Montpellier but returned to play for Argentinos until 2002. After single seasons with San Lorenzo and Rosario Central he joined Spanish side UE Lleida in 2004. In 2005, he returned again to Argentina to play for Independiente. He spent the whole of 2009 on loan to Deportivo Cali of Colombia.
