Maxacapan is a village and ejido (population 981 in 2010 and 1039 in 2000) within the municipality of Catemaco, located on the edge of Laguna Catemaco, {{convert|4|km|mi}} south of Catemaco City in southcentral Veracruz, southeastern Mexico.
