The United States Environmental Protection Agency has classified mecoprop as toxicity class III - slightly toxic.[4] Mecoprop is a mixture of two stereoisomers, with the (R)-(+)-enantiomer ("Mecoprop-P", "Duplosan KV") possessing the herbicidal activity.[5] See also
