At the 2006 census, the county's population was 187,870, in 46,469 families.[3] The county is subdivided into four districts: the Central District, Kaghazkonan District, Kandovan District, and Torkamanchay District. The county has five cities: Mianeh, Aqkand, Tark, Achachi & Torkamanchay (where the Treaty of Turkmenchay was signed by Russia and Iran in 1828). References1. ^BGN Standard without diacritics.
