Miniatürk is a miniature park situated at the north-eastern shore of Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. It was opened May 2, 2003. Miniatürk covers a total area of {{convert|60000|m2|sqft}}. It is one of the world's largest miniature parks with its {{convert|15000|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} model area. The park contains 122 models in 1:25 scale. It contains structures from in and around Turkey, as well as interpretations of historic structures. The park covers a total area of {{convert|60000|m2|sqft}} comprises {{convert|40000|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} of open space, {{convert|3500|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} of covered area, {{convert|2000|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} of pools and waterways, and a parking lot with a capacity of 500 vehicles. With its {{convert|15000|m2|sqft|abbr=on}} model area, it is one of the world's largest miniature parks. The 122 models in the park are done in 1/25th scale. 58 of the structures are from Istanbul, 52 are from Anatolia, and 12 are from the Ottoman territories that today lie outside of Turkey.[1] Also featured are historic structures like the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus and the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus (now Bodrum).[2] Additional space is reserved for potential future models.
