It is found in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical, dry shrubland, rocky areas, arable land, and pastureland.[1] The name is derived from "Maghreb" - "West" - in Arabic (see Mograbi). DescriptionThis snake is usually about 120 cm long but can reach 150 cm. It is orange with circular spots of reddish or greenish brown. It is a very agile and can move quickly over rocky substrates.[2] See also
