Montenegrins in Bosnia and Herzegovina are an officially recognised national minority. The 1991 census counted 10,071 ethnic Montenegrins, which were severely reduced to 1,883 in the 2013 census, with many of them now identifying as either Orthodox Serb or Catholic Croat with Montenegrin origin.
