}} The moorland francolin (Scleroptila psilolaema) is a species of bird in the family Phasianidae. DistributionIt is found in moorland in the highlands of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. TaxonomyIn Kenya and Uganda, the subspecies is sometimes known as the Elgon francolin.
