History

Morgan Township was founded in the 1820s.^[2]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of {{convert|29.65|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|29.57|sqmi}} (or 99.73%) is land and {{convert|0.08|sqmi}} (or 0.27%) is water.^[1]
