It was mainly produced by Beats By the Pound and Nathan "Happy" Perez. The album was a huge success, making it to number 10 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums selling 210,000 units in its first week and was certified Gold by the RIAA two months later, and by September 1 1998 the album had sold over 1.3 million copies in the U.S. The album featured 2 singles "How Ya Do Dat" feat Master P & C-Loc was a huge success, and " Times So Hard" was also a success and a video was shot for this single further pushing the album to platinum status.
