Nangavalli is famous for its Temple "Sri lakshmi Narashimha Swamy" an Avathar of lord Vishnu. Also Sri Ramalinga Sowdeswari Amman temple located in Nangavali taluk. More over Nangavalli has lots of Handlooms. The Silk Sarees manufactured here are sold leading Textile Stores in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The main occupation in Nangavalli is Weaving.The Silk sarees made from Nangavalli and the around area is very famous throughout India.Only one Government School.The festival of the Narashimha Swamy Thirukovil will be celebrated by the nearby all the villages in and around Nangavalli.Dhroupathi amman festival is also celebrated in the month of April–May every year.In this festival a live demo of Mahabharatha's fight will be organised.
