It has 6043 units of household and total area 393.68 km². DemographicsAs of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Naniarchar has a population of 34561. Males constitute 52.67% of the population, and females 47.33%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 16882. Naniarchar has an average literacy rate of 33.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[2] Unions[3]
