NAC Operations is the flight operations and charter division. NAC operates a South African network of offices, its main base is Lanseria Airport, with office hubs at Cape Town International Airport, Durban, Grand Central Airport, Wonderboom Airport and Rand Airport.[2] NAC also has businesses further afield in Botswana Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Gaborone and internationally, Awesome Flight Logistics in Perth, Australia and Specialized Aircraft Services in Wichita, USA. HistoryThe general aviation company was established in 1946 and started operations on 25 May 1946. 1 July 1999, Imperial Holdings, a mobility group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, purchased a 62% share in NAC in 1999. At the same time Streamline Aviation merged into NAC to form NAC Charter. In 2011, Naturelink Aviation was merged into National Airways Corporation.
