}}Oliver Fartach-Naini (born 1964) is a German guitarist living in Australia where he teaches at the Elder Conservatorium of Music,[1] University of Adelaide. He is regularly involved in organising festivals and performing classical guitar for the public,[2]

Biography

Oliver Fartach-Naini performs as a soloist,[3] in duo with Korean guitarist Professor Lee Song-Ou,[4][5][6][7][8][9] German flautist Thea Nielsen[10][11][12] and as a member of the quintet "Tango Concertante".[13][14][15][16][17]

Recordings include 7 CDs[18] for Deutsche Grammophon,[19][20][21] Kreuzberg Records[22] and Acoustic Music Records.[23]

The German “Edition Margaux” publishes the “Collection Oliver Fartach-Naini”[24] which is a selection of works composers from all over the world [25][26][27] have dedicated to Oliver Fartach-Naini and his ensembles.

As a student of American guitarist and composer Laurie Randolph Oliver Fartach-Naini holds degrees from the Berlin University of the Arts and the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig in Leipzig.[28]
