Our Own English High School is a private school in Dubai. It is the first major school of the chai of schools started by K. S Varkey in 1969 and now managed by his son Indian businessman Sunny Varkey, founder of GEMS Education, across the cities of United Arab Emirates. The very first campus had opened in Bastakia and in 1983 moved to Oud Metha, it was moved once again to Al Warqa'a to a much bigger campus. Earlier both girls and boys attended the school in two different shifts. Now there are separate campuses for girls and boys in separate buildings starting 2005. It follows the CBSE curriculum.

Campus

Established in 1968, GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai has over 13,000 students of 22 nationalities, and 2,000 faculty members from 10 countries.

The school is located in Al Warqa’a 3 on a large sprawling centrally air-conditioned campus spanning a massive built-in area of 41,462 square metres, providing numerous facilities for student life and learning.
